A banded sphere with a raised equatorial ring, designed by Lana Orlova Bauer. The ring catches transfer sheets and coloured cocoa butter well, so it suits chocolatiers building a decorated bonbon line. Polycarbonate holds the ring definition without softening over repeated tempering cycles.
